Hero Blurb

My mom was born on June 11, 1959.
Her father died when she was only three, leaving her single mother to tend to four other children as well as a business. In time, the same thing soon followed, except with a divorce. She has shown me constant effort, and love. And I greatly appreciate that everyday.

I chose this photo because it shows Alice Dellal shaving the side of her head. Its one of her trademarks and I completely love it. Its Morbid Beauty. Its something some people would find taboo. I also chose this photo because I have a liking for the books by Lewis Carrol, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and Through the Looking Glass, books I have read numerous times. This only comes along because the girl's name in the photograph is Alice, so I see Alice Dellal as a modern day Alice Liddell.
